What You’ll Do as a Delivery Driver

Delivery Drivers at SW16 Logistics play a critical role in delivering packages safely, accurately, and on time.

Key responsibilities include:

Safely driving an delivery van (non-CDL)
Delivering 250+ packages per day to approximately 160–200 delivery locations
Using handheld technology to manage deliveries and navigation
Loading and unloading packages throughout the shift
Interacting with customers and the public in a professional, respectful manner
Following all company and legal safety standards at all times

What This Job Is Really Like (Please Read Carefully)

This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role that requires focus, judgment, and accountability. Successful drivers should be comfortable with the realities of last-mile delivery, including:

Working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, and limited daylight)
Driving and walking on long, uneven, or rural driveways, stairs, and apartment complexes
Completing deliveries during early mornings, evenings, and night hours
Maintaining professionalism when interacting with occasionally frustrated or unresponsive customers
Staying focused and safe during 10-hour shifts in a time-sensitive environment
Following customer delivery instructions exactly, without exception

Basic Qualifications

Ability to safely operate a delivery van with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs or less
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to get in and out of the delivery van repeatedly throughout the day
Comfortable working in all weather conditions
Reliable transportation to and from work
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
Ability to maintain productivity of 25–30 stops per hour

Weekend availability is required (at least ONE weekend day).
