This role sits at a uniquely strategic intersection of DoorDash's multisided marketplace — bridging the needs of Brands, retailers, and consumers to power discovery, growth, and a more personalized shopping experience across the platform. This role owns the end-to-end experience that Brands have on DoorDash. In the near term, that means ensuring brands can understand their business through rich sales data and operational metrics, manage their business by pushing catalog changes and maintaining their presence on the platform, and grow their business through ads and promotions. The aggregate brand investment on DoorDash runs into the billions, making this a critical growth lever for the company. Looking ahead, there are a lot of opportunities to design across all of New Vertical (NV) Growth Products — growing along three dimensions: expanding the customer base from brands to broader brand partners and ultimately to a brands‑plus‑retailers model and incubating new product surfaces including insights tools, in‑store solutions, and more. Through your leadership and vision, you will help DoorDash become the trusted growth partner for every brand looking to reach customers at scale — while delivering more relevant, personalized experiences to consumers. This role will report into our Head of Design for Ads & Promotions and lead a major pillar in the org. Compensation The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job‑related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market‑dependent and may be modified in the future. For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
