Role Overview The Freelance Social Content Editor is a part-time, fully remote role responsible for editing short-form video content for client social channels. Working from raw footage, briefs, and creative direction, this role turns shoots and source material into polished, platform-ready content — cut, captioned, and optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social formats. This role partners closely with Indie’s creative, social & influencer, and production teams, turning around edits quickly, incorporating feedback across revision rounds, and keeping pace with trends in social-first editing styles, sounds, and formats.
