Led by a leadership team that has been together for over 10 years, you will join a proven team, culture, and strategy to drive innovation within the IT outsourcing industry while developing your skillset with the opportunities for internal growth.<br><br><strong>Role Summary<br><br></strong>Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for end-to-end solution design and delivery across the Salesforce platform, primarily supporting Life Sciences Cloud, Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and MuleSoft-driven integrations. This role leads to discovery and requirements gathering with client stakeholders, produces solution documentation, supports presales solutioning and scoping, and drives implementation teams through delivery. This is a senior, client-facing individual contributor role. No travel. Fully remote.<br><br><strong>Core Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Implement and govern end-to-end solution architecture aligned to approved business outcomes, platform standards, and security/compliance requirements.</li><li>Lead client-facing discovery, requirements workshops, and design sessions; translate requirements into clear functional and technical designs.</li><li>Own solution documentation including solution design documents, architecture diagrams, data flows, integration specs, and configuration/workflow decisions.</li><li>Define and review Salesforce data models, security model (profiles/permission sets/sharing), automation strategy (Flows), and programmatic approach (Apex/LWC).</li><li>Architect Service Cloud capabilities (case management, Omni-Channel routing, knowledge, entitlements, email-to-case) and Life Sciences/Health Cloud patterns as applicable.</li><li>Define integration architecture and patterns across Salesforce and external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven patterns such as Platform Events and Change Data Capture).</li><li>Partner with MuleSoft and integration teams to design API-led connectivity, error handling, retries, and monitoring; provide architectural oversight even when not building MuleSoft flows directly.</li><li>Support presales solutioning and scoping, including high-level estimates, delivery approach, assumptions, risks, and implementation roadmap.</li><li>Provide technical leadership across onshore and offshore delivery teams through design reviews, build guidance, and quality gates.</li><li>Support regulated life sciences delivery needs (validation readiness, auditability, change control, and release governance).</li><li>Drive environment strategy, CI/CD governance, and deployment readiness (Git, SFDX, Copado/Gearset/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions or equivalent).<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>8+ years of Salesforce platform experience with 3+ years in a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Architecture role.</li><li>Strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including data modeling, security architecture, and automation (Flows).</li><li>Working knowledge of programmatic development on Salesforce (Apex and Lightning Web Components) sufficient to make design tradeoffs and guide developers.</li><li>Experience delivering solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds, including Service Cloud and at least one Life Sciences Cloud or Health Cloud.</li><li>Strong experience designing integrations (APIs and event-driven patterns) and coordinating with middleware teams (MuleSoft or equivalent).</li><li>Experience producing and maintaining solution documentation used by technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Experience supporting Agile delivery teams and driving implementation through requirements, build, test, and release.</li><li>Strong client-facing skills: facilitation, clear written communication, executive-ready storytelling, and the ability to manage ambiguity without formal authority.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Salesforce Certifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator (Administrator credential)</li><li>Salesforce Certified Platform Developer (Platform Developer I credential)</li><li>Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II<br><br></li></ul><strong>Nice to Have<br><br></strong><ul><li>Life sciences or healthcare domain experience (commercial, medical affairs, patient services, advanced therapies).</li><li>Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (including identity, segmentation, activation, and data model design).</li><li>MuleSoft experience and/or certification: MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4)</li><li>Experience with Veeva (Vault, CRM) and/or IQVIA OCE ecosystems.</li><li>Exposure to GxP-regulated or validated environments (validation documentation, traceability, test evidence, audit readiness).</li><li>Additional Salesforce certifications (optional): Integration Architecture Designer; Identity and Access Management Designer; Data Architecture and Management Designer; Salesforce Certified Technical Architect.<br><br></li></ul><em>Slipstream is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
