Senior CRM Developer

The pioneer in forensic utility bill auditing. Since 1991 we've recovered $700M+ for 16,000+ commercial buildings — on pure contingency. No recovery, no fee. We're growing rapidly, and our in-house software is the engine behind that recovery.

We're looking for a senior developer to help own that engine: someone who can take our Dynamics 365 CRM from configuration to production-grade reliability, build real automation on the Power Platform, and work the way our team already works — with AI-assisted tools as part of daily development, not an experiment on the side.

Responsibilities

  • Own configuration, customization, and integration work on our Dynamics 365 CRM implementation, from discovery through post-go-live support.
  • Design, build, and support automations and low-code solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps, reducing manual work across departments.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar) as a standard part of your workflow — for implementation, testing, and documentation.
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate real operational needs into CRM and platform solutions.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation as a normal part of delivery, not an afterthought.
  • Work alongside our existing M365/CRM developer as a peer on CRM architecture decisions, and help mentor as the team grows.
  • Track all work in JIRA, with estimation and task breakdown before development begins.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Hands-on Dynamics 365 CRM experience: configuration, customization, plugins/workflows, and third-party integrations.
  • Working experience with the Power Platform — Power Automate and Power Apps required, Power BI a plus.
  • Proficiency in C# and/or JavaScript for CRM customization work; comfort with SQL Server or another relational database.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools in real projects — not just familiarity. Claude Code preferred; Copilot, Cursor, or similar accepted.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you'll be in the room with business stakeholders, not shielded from them.
  • Comfortable working independently in a small, fully remote team.

NICE TO HAVE

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in utility, energy, or another data-driven services industry.
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI report-building experience.
  • Experience mentoring other developers or acting as a technical point of contact on a project.

Benefits

Benefits: 401(k) with company match, health/dental/vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and 11 paid holidays.

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
