Key Responsibilities

The Station Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operations of station activities while maintaining the highest levels of safety, security, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leadership & Operations

  • Assist the Station Manager in leading, directing, and supervising all aspects of station operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, proactively managing flight activity, including irregular operations, to ensure seamless performance.

Safety & Security

  • Enforce strict adherence to EL AL Ground Services, Health & Safety regulations, and international aviation safety standards.
  • Supervise contracted ground-handling services to ensure compliance with safety regulations and service delivery standards. Customer-Centric Service:
  • Ensure timely and customer-focused service delivery, complying with all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Maintain effective and professional communication with crews, OCC (Operational Control Center), and relevant departments to guarantee a customer-focused approach.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Foster proactive and productive working relationships with ground-handling agents, contractors, and service providers.
  • Serve as a liaison with other airline station managers, airport operations directors, security officials, and airport stakeholders to ensure cohesive operations.

Regulations & Compliance

  • Ensure consistent compliance with FAA regulations, Immigration policies, Customs protocols, and other relevant procedures.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of terminal, ramp, and airport security protocols to ensure safe and regulated operations.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with a strong aviation background, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead with professionalism and composure. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in airline operations, airport management, or ground-handling processes.
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations, airport ground-handling procedures, and security/safety protocols.
  • Working knowledge of Immigration, Customs, and other travel-related policies.

Skills

  • Effective communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships with employees, government officials, vendors, and travelers.
  • Proven ability to manage a contracted workforce and lead teams with confidence and precision.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and airline DCS systems.

Adaptability

  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, as operational needs demand.
  • Flexibility to provide support to other stations when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
