Temporary Contracts Paralegal (Fully-Remote)

Latitude is recruiting a motivated, detail-oriented Contracts Paralegal for a temporary fully-remote engagement with one of its Fortune 500 clients, one of the largest and most respected insurance companies in the United States.

The Contracts

Paralegal will draft and redline a wide variety of contracts. The ideal candidate will have strong independent judgment, comfort drafting and redlining basic contracts like NDAs and vendor contracts, and autonomy to own their contract matters. Prior in-house contracts experience, including substantial drafting and redlining, is required. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced unstructured environment.

Experience with CLMs (e.g., Conga) is a plus.

This is a fully-remote opportunity. Preference is given to candidates in Eastern or Central time zones. This role is for temporary leave coverage. The engagement is expected to start in late August or September and last for approximately 10-12 weeks.

Position Details For The Contracts Paralegal

  • Type of Role: Engagement
  • Schedule: Full-time for 10-12 weeks starting in late August or September
  • Location: Remote (preference for candidates in Eastern or Central time zones)
Compensation Pay: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position). Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available.
