Through this integrated approach to reducing wasted food – Prevent, Provide, Power – Divert works with customers across the U.S. to reduce wasted food and positively impact people and the environment.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Do<br><br></strong>Divert’s Assistant Technicians play a pivotal role in the food analysis and recovery process as they execute on various prep, cleaning, light maintenance and other activities. Under the direction of the Lead Technician our Assistant Technicians work in our Analytics, Modular and complete RNG facilities.<br><br><strong>Shift Available<br><br></strong><ul><li>Monday thru Friday, 10 am to 6:30 pm<br><br></li></ul><em><strong>This position is a safety-sensitive position and requires a clear mind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility for his/her safety as well as the safety of others. <br><br></strong></em><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Organizing, sorting and processing packaged food product to be donated</li><li>Executes on various tasks including the inspection, breakdown, cleaning, and stacking of organic material bins</li><li>Maintains a clean and safe work environment and escalates concerns to Lead Technician or Managers in real time</li><li>Operation of hand pallet jacks</li><li>Assists Lead Technician with basic tasks and other operational activities as assigned</li><li>Participation in all shift handoff meetings, scheduled trainings, and other meeting as assigned</li><li>Other duties as assigned<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements<br><br></strong>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential functions for this position and meet the physical requirements needed to perform them, including but not limited to frequently require the ability to drive a forklift, sit; hear or talk: use close vision; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects; and type and manipulate controls.
