About the position

NBCUniversal Advertising Platforms & Services (AP&S) leads the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal’s advertising technology suite. Serving internal and external customers, the division supports NBCUniversal’s \$10B+ annual advertising business and builds platforms powering the future of advertising at NBCU. The Activation Infrastructure and Capabilities team builds and evolves connected products that support audience planning, forecasting, activation, measurement, and AI-enabled workflows. These platforms help Sales, Planning, Activation, Account Management, and Operations teams execute advertising campaigns efficiently and at scale. The Business Analyst will support business analysis, product testing, and operational readiness across the activation infrastructure product suite.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze product performance, operational data, and key performance indicators to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Develop and execute product testing strategies, including user acceptance testing, validation, and quality assurance.
  • Build custom reporting matrices to address stakeholder questions and support decision-making.
  • Document business processes, system requirements, and operational workflows for product launches and enhancements.
  • Support feature delivery through analysis, testing, issue triage, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Monitor and report on product adoption, performance, and operational health.
  • Maintain product documentation and partner with the Ad Sales Center of Excellence (COE) to update templates, training materials, and quick-reference guides.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Experience documenting business requirements, workflows, and process improvements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the media, advertising, or Ad Sales industry.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy.
  • Experience with data visualization, reporting, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.
