Director, Software Engineer Finance Tech - (Remote Eligible)
As a Capital One Director of Software Engineering, youll work on everything from forward-looking forecasting frameworks and strategic planning tools to high-throughput data engineering pipelines, back-end systems, and machine learning models using the latest techniques in Big Data. You will sit at the intersection of core business strategy and advanced technology, leading teams to build next-generation data infrastructure side-by-side with quantitative data scientists and business leaders. You’ll bring solid experience in emerging and traditional data technologies, cloud platforms, and analytical disciplines such as: Python, SQL, Spark, Scala, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Cloud Infrastructure, Apache Airflow, MLOps,, machine learning frameworks, and large-scale enterprise data systems, to name a few.
You will:
- Lead, manage, and grow multiple forward-thinking teams of software, data, and platform engineers.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
