These activities include but are not limited to loading, unloading, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. Additionally, the Associate is tasked with proficiently operating a forklift or other material handling equipment to facilitate the movement, positioning, relocation, stacking, and inventory counting processes.<br><br><strong><strong>Essential Duties<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Unloads, receives, inspects, segregate, palletize, and loads products.</li><li>Locates products from storage locations.</li><li>Stocks inventory in proper location as directed by WMS.</li><li>Report issues and status of inventory audits.</li><li>Scan shipping carton ID#’s.</li><li>Prints and tags shipping labels onto parcels.</li><li>Transports goods and proper storage or picking locations.</li><li>Picks and packs customer orders efficiently and accurately.</li><li>Assembles customer orders and stack onto pallets.</li><li>Maintains clean production equipment and work areas as outlined in safety protocols.</li><li>Alerts supervisors of possible hazards or problems with products, machinery, or processes.</li><li>Operates a forklift when needed.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Required<br><br></strong></strong><strong>Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Educational Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume work environment.</li><li>Basic working knowledge of material handling equipment with the ability to maintain annual certification requirements</li><li>Ability to multi-task and manage priorities based on management and customer requirements</li><li>Basic knowledge of simple math concepts</li><li>Proactive “self-starter” with a strong attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to drive a Forklift or get certified within specified amount of time</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with teammates, understand and provide directions, and make entries on reports/records</li><li>Valid Driver’s License<br><br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Preferred<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>High School Diploma/GED<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Key Competencies<br><br></strong><strong>Inter-Relationships<br><br></strong>Consistent interaction with other hourly production/distribution team members and management. Will be frequently exposed to seasonal temperatures of excessive cold or heat.
