What You'll Be Doing

  • Foot and mobile patrol assigned Cook County facilities to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Monitor parking facilities for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and safety hazards
  • Protect County property, employees, visitors, and vehicles
  • Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
  • Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports
  • Maintain a visible security presence while providing excellent customer service
  • Enforce site policies and procedures while interacting professionally with the public
Requirements:

Requirements:

? Must be 21 years of age or older
? Valid Illinois PERC Card
? 20-Hour Basic Security Training Certificate
? Valid Illinois Driver's License
? High School Diploma, Official Transcripts, or GED
? Good driving record
? Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
? Strong communication and report-writing skills
? Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
? Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
