This position will have a strong emphasis on enterprise networking, including network architecture and design, switching, firewall administration, wireless infrastructure, network segmentation, traffic analysis, performance optimization, and troubleshooting, while also providing support for servers, virtualization, backup and recovery, and related infrastructure technologies.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise-grade network technologies, with experience supporting Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls and Aruba switching and wireless solutions highly desirable. The successful candidate will understand how networking, servers, virtualization, storage, backups, and facility infrastructure work together to provide reliable and secure City services.</p><p>This position will take a proactive role in maintaining the health, reliability, performance, security, and lifecycle of the City’s technology environment.
