Integrated Master Scheduler (IMS) Lead

<div><strong>Position Overview</strong><br/><br/>Our By Light team, the premier providers of innovative Information Technology (IT) services and communications support to the Department of Defense and Federal Agencies, is growing. We're increasing our team to support the US Army Comprehensive Modernization (COMPMOD) program. The program delivers end-to-end EFIS&T services-including survey and design through installation, security, and testing. This work spans NIPR and SIPR networks, Wi-Fi, VoIP, ISP/OSP infrastructure, and voice modernization across all CONUS Army installations.<br/><br/>We're looking for an IMS Lead to own and manage the Integrated Master Schedule supporting Army network modernization efforts. You'll develop, maintain, and analyze the program schedule, support milestone decision-making, and work closely with government and program teams to keep execution on track.<br/><br/>You'll translate technical scope into a structured schedule, provide insight into schedule health and risk, and support planning, testing, and transition activities.<br/><br/><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br/><br/><ul><li>Manage and provide input to the PdM GENM-A Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)</li><li>Support program milestone decisions through schedule analysis and issue resolution recommendations</li><li>Assist with master implementation, testing, and transition planning</li><li>Develop and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) aligned to the system physical architecture down to the configuration item level</li><li>Define schedule activities in terms of calendar time and required resources</li><li>Build and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project Server (SE edition)</li><li>Perform schedule analysis, including critical path analysis and Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs)</li><li>Prepare, review, and deliver required plans, reports, and CDRL schedule deliverables</li><li>Support program reviews, conferences, briefings, and stakeholder meetings</li></ul><br/><br/><strong>Required Experience/Qualifications</strong><br/><br/><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field</li><li>Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree</li><li>5+ years of IMS experience, including 2+ years leading scheduling personnel</li><li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project (Server or Online)</li><li>Demonstrated experience developing, baselining, maintaining, and analyzing IMS on complex programs</li><li>Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14-point check, BEI, CPLI, SPI)</li></ul><br/><br/><strong>Preferred Experience/Qualifications</strong><br/><br/><ul><li>Prior experience supporting the U.S. Army or other federal agencies</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior military leadership and program teams</li></ul><br/><br/><strong>Special Requirements/Security Clearance</strong><br/><br/><ul><li>Active Secret clearance required at the time of application</li><li>Occasional travel to By Light offices in McLean, VA or Hanover, MD and Fort Belvoir, VA may be required</li></ul><br/><br/><strong>Physical Demands</strong><br/><br/><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 30 lbs</li></ul></div>
