Litigation Paralegal (Remote, Patent Litigation)

A well-established and highly regarded law firm is hiring a fully remote Litigation Paralegal to support two to three attorneys handling primarily patent and commercial litigation matters. Responsibilities: prepare, format, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents in federal and state courts; conduct federal court docket research and filings using PACER and electronic court filing systems; manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and case-related tasks; support discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation; maintain organized electronic case files in a fully cloud-based environment; assist with California state court matters; coordinate documents with attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and clients; prepare and occasionally ship legal documents, including international shipments; transition existing matters from other paralegals. Qualifications: minimum five years of litigation paralegal experience; demonstrated experience preparing and filing documents in federal courts; strong familiarity with PACER and federal electronic filing systems; commercial, patent, or other complex litigation experience preferred; familiarity with California state courts a plus; strong knowledge of litigation procedures and deadlines; excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills; ability to work independently in a fully remote environment; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and cloud-based legal systems; access to a FedEx or UPS facility within a reasonable distance; Spanish-language skills a plus. Compensation and benefits: 100,000 to 150,000 dollars per year, negotiable based on experience; BCBS health insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; discretionary bonus opportunities; fully remote work; Pacific Time Zone schedule; 40-hour workweek with occasional overtime.
