Non-Com Sales Team, Full-Time

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with priority segments, target accounts, client objectives, sales goals, and measurable activity
  • Sell CORE client products directly to operators through product presentations, discovery, needs-based recommendations, sampling, follow-up, and closing
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of key operator accounts, including prioritization, call planning, relationship development, opportunity creation, follow-up, and issue resolution
  • Translate approved client and group programs into operator-level selling activity
  • Present multiple CORE client solutions while communicating product features, benefits, applications, operational value, and financial impact within approved guidelines
  • Maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline with stages, next steps, expected volume, risks, and target conversion dates
  • Deliver assigned sales, case-volume, distribution, conversion, and client objectives
  • Use Salesforce, Power BI, and designated reporting tools to manage the sales process and maintain accurate customer, opportunity, forecast, and results records
  • Monitor local market conditions, customer needs, competitive activity, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers, sales leadership, client teams, culinary resources, distributors, and other partners
  • Independently prioritize accounts, plan travel, sequence opportunities, manage follow-up, and resolve routine customer issues
  • Represent CORE and its clients at customer meetings, food shows, vendor fairs, trainings, and industry events
  • Manage travel, Everlance, samples, sales materials, expenses, and company resources responsibly
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales, case-volume, conversion, and client objectives
  • Maintain territory plans, call cadence, pipeline, forecasts, account coverage, and accurate Salesforce records

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent industry experience in foodservice sales, restaurant operations, hospitality, account management, or a closely related field
  • Three to five years of sales experience preferred
  • Proven full-cycle selling experience, including needs-based presentations, objection management, customer commitments, and measurable sales results
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Power BI, Microsoft Office, Teams, and designated selling/reporting tools
  • Ability to interpret sales reports, prioritize opportunities, manage a pipeline, and communicate a fact-based forecast
  • Working knowledge of non-commercial channel structures, contract-managed accounts, GPOs, approved client programs, distributor requirements, Managed Order Guides (MOGs), and approval paths
  • Ability to identify opportunities to add approved client items to MOGs and support account growth
  • Experience with foodservice sales, restaurant operations, hospitality, distributors, buying groups, GPOs, or contract-managed accounts preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company requirements
  • Ability to drive extensively, up to 250 miles per day, and travel overnight for shows
  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods, typically 8–10+ hours in the field or at a food show
  • Ability to walk moderate distances and navigate restaurants, kitchens, storage areas, loading zones, stairs, and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move samples, equipment, and materials weighing typically up to 30–40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and perform repetitive physical activities
  • Ability to work in foodservice environments with heat, cold, wet or slippery floors, and confined or high-traffic spaces
  • Ability to maintain required visual perception
