Remote Airline Ticketing Agent

One mistyped itinerary and someone's trip falls apart before they even get to the gate. That's the kind of mistake we're trying to keep off the board. We need a Remote Airline Ticketing Agent who can book a flight right at 11 pm the same way they would at 11 am — no shortcuts, no guessing on the fare rules. About the Role Domestic and international ticketing, mostly. Phone, chat, email — whatever the traveler prefers that day. You're the one getting people booked, rebooked, or untangled when their plans change last minute. Fares and ticketing rules have to line up exactly. Remote means your own setup, your own quiet room, and a machine that won't choke halfway through processing a booking. What Fills the Day Confirmations. Itinerary changes. Cancellations and exchanges that need to be revalidated the first time correctly — nobody wants to redo the same ticket twice. Some calls are simple. Others come in from someone frustrated by a delay, and they need a real answer, not a script read aloud. You'll be in airline systems and global distribution platforms for most of the shift, logging interactions as you go and keeping an eye on policy changes as airlines roll them out. What Gets You Considered High school diploma or its equivalent — that's the floor here. Extra training in travel or tourism helps, but nobody's requiring it. On experience: at least a year actually doing airline booking, travel coordination, or something close to it. Not just familiarity — time spent doing the work. High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year in airline booking, travel coordination, or ticketing Comfortable with airline terminology, fare classes, travel codes Stays clear and steady under pressure, on the phone and in writing Catches small mistakes before they turn into expensive ones Can work without someone checking your queue every hour Open to occasional evening or weekend shifts GDS experience — Saber, Amadeus, Galileo — helps a lot. If you don't have it yet but the fundamentals are solid, that's usually fine too. What You'll Be Working Inside CRM and ticketing platforms hold the bookings and client history. Messaging stays encrypted, because customer data shouldn't be floating around unprotected. Basic spreadsheet work covers ticket reporting, and Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 runs most of the internal side. This one's posted in a few places — Naukri Mitra is one of them — but the screening looks the same no matter where you came from. Remote, Not Isolated Training happens virtually and continues beyond the first week. Team messaging stays open for the odd edge case that comes up mid-call, and there are scheduled refreshers on fare logic and policy shifts so nobody's flying blind for long. Pay and What's Included The role pays $40,500 a year, plus room for performance-based incentives. Real flexibility on where and how you work, remote-first Full onboarding before you're handling calls on your own Paid time off and sick leave Monthly refreshers to keep ticketing knowledge current A peer network for agents still finding their footing Where It Goes From Here Agents who stay accurate and level-headed under pressure usually eventually move into senior ticketing, training, or operations coordination. Worth taking seriously if travel operations is where you want to build a career, not just pass time. Apply Open to applicants in the U.S., Canada, the UK, the EU, Australia, India, and several other regions. Send a resume along with any ticketing or travel coordination background you have, and we'll follow up.
