About Rare Candy

Rare Candy is revolutionizing the $25B trading card industry as the only community marketplace 100% dedicated to trading card games. We empower collectors to buy, sell, and showcase Pokémon, MTG, Lorcana, and more—backed by an AI-powered card scanner, data-rich collection tools, and jaw-dropping drops. We grew almost 30x last year and aren’t slowing down!

We\'re a team of passionate card collectors and players on a mission to create the definitive platform where TCG enthusiasts find community, authenticity, and seamless commerce in one place.

The Role

We’re looking for a part-time Webflow Designer/Developer to own and improve our marketing site and digital brand presence. This role will take our storytelling, conversion funnels, and visual polish to the next level—ensuring every visitor has a seamless and compelling experience from first click to collector signup.

You’ll collaborate closely with the product, design, and growth teams to implement landing pages, optimize site performance, and create a design system that scales as we grow.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 days:

  • Refresh our marketing site with a new homepage design and at least 2 optimized landing pages.
  • Implement a clear design system in Webflow (components, styles, responsive rules).
  • Improve site speed and SEO fundamentals.

By end of year one:

  • Scale to a Webflow site that supports multiple concurrent campaigns, product launches, and creator partnerships.
  • Establish a robust A/B testing and analytics setup to improve conversion rates month over month.

What You\'ll Do

  • Design & build in Webflow: Create responsive, high-converting landing pages, microsites, and content pages.
  • Translate brand into web: Apply Rare Candy’s visual identity across digital touchpoints with consistency and creativity.
  • Optimize for growth: Implement CRO best practices, analytics integrations, and SEO enhancements.
  • Maintain & evolve: Own ongoing updates, bug fixes, and feature requests for rarecandy.com.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Growth on campaign pages, with Product on feature launches, and with Design on brand evolution.
  • Document & scale: Build out a scalable design system in Webflow so future contributors can move fast with consistency.

A Day in Your Life at Rare Candy

You start by polishing a new landing page for a major Pokémon drop, ensuring mobile experience feels flawless. By midday, you’re syncing with Growth to design a referral campaign page. Later, you’re optimizing site load times with lightweight animations, then documenting new Webflow components so the team can launch faster next time.

You Might Be a Fit If …

  • You have 3+ years experience designing and developing in Webflow (portfolio required).
  • You have a strong eye for visual design, UX, and responsive best practices.
  • You’re comfortable with light custom code (HTML, CSS, JS) when Webflow’s native features need a boost.
  • You have experience integrating analytics, forms, CMS, and SEO tools into Webflow builds.
  • You’re able to work independently, manage multiple requests, and deliver with speed and polish.
  • Bonus points if you love TCGs (Pokémon, MTG, Lorcana, etc.) and can design with that audience in mind.

Why Join Us Now

  • Direct impact on our brand presence during a hypergrowth stage.
  • Work closely with a small, experienced team with backgrounds at StockX, eBay, and Topps.
  • Flexible, part-time remote role with potential to expand.
  • Be part of shaping the look and feel of the #1 TCG marketplace before we hit mainstream scale.

Our Hiring Process

  • 30-min intro chat with Taylor (Head of Growth) (within 1 week of application).
  • Portfolio & Webflow walkthrough (45 minutes).
  • Paid take-home: design & build a landing page concept in Webflow (2–3 hrs, $200 compensation).
  • Final interview with Product & Growth teams.
  • Reference calls and offer.

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
