Live Chat Agent / Customer Support Associate(Remote)

We are looking for a friendly, proactive, and detail-oriented Live Chat Agent / Customer Support Associate to join our remote team and help create positive experiences for our customers every day. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for people reaching out with questions, concerns, or requests, and your ability to communicate clearly, patiently, and professionally will make a real difference. You will support customers through live chat, provide accurate information about products and services, troubleshoot common issues, and guide users toward helpful solutions in a timely manner. Because this is a remote position, we are looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable managing their time while staying connected with teammates and supervisors in a virtual environment. You should enjoy helping others, remain calm under pressure, and be able to handle multiple conversations at once without losing attention to detail or empathy. A successful candidate will be a strong written communicator who can adapt tone and messaging to different customer needs while maintaining a warm and supportive approach. You will also document interactions, escalate more complex cases when needed, and share feedback that can help improve internal processes and the overall customer journey. We value people who are curious, eager to learn, and open to coaching, as our tools, workflows, and customer expectations continue to evolve. Previous customer service experience is helpful, but just as important is a genuine desire to solve problems and create trust with every interaction. If you are someone who takes pride in being helpful, enjoys working independently while still being part of a collaborative team, and wants to contribute to a company that values service, communication, and reliability, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries through live chat in a timely, professional, and friendly manner
  • Assist customers with product, service, account, and order-related questions
  • Troubleshoot basic issues and provide clear step-by-step guidance to resolve concerns
  • Document customer interactions accurately in internal systems and update case notes as needed
  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate team while ensuring a smooth handoff
  • Manage multiple chat conversations at once while maintaining quality and attention to detail
  • Share recurring customer feedback and common issues with the team to support service improvements

Requirements

  • Strong written communication skills with a friendly and professional tone
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively
  • Comfort using live chat platforms, customer support tools, and basic computer applications
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm in fast-paced situations
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote workspace
  • Previous experience in customer service, live chat support, or a similar role is a plus
