As Automation Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role. You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them.<br><br>You work directly with engineering and delivery leadership to take a documented roadmap of automation workflows and turn them into shipped, working systems. This role is for someone who has already built things with LLMs and can show it.<br><br><strong>What You Will Build<br><br></strong><ul><li>Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.</li><li>Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.</li><li>Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.</li><li>Automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.</li><li>MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li>2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.</li><li>Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.</li><li>Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).</li><li>Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.</li><li>English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.<br><br></li></ul><strong>How To Apply<br><br></strong>Apply in two minutes at the link.
