Conduct regular market research and analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices. Collaborate with HR and leadership to develop and implement compensation strategies and programs. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation. Review and evaluate job descriptions to determine appropriate salary ranges and classifications. Monitor and maintain accurate and up-to-date compensation data and records. Provide guidance and support to HR and management on compensation-related matters. Conduct audits and identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement in compensation practices. Participate in salary surveys and benchmarking studies to stay informed of industry trends. Manage the annual merit and bonus process, including budget planning and communication with employees. Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation-related questions and issues. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation-related transactions. Develop and maintain relationships with external compensation consultants and vendors. Stay current on industry best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Communicate compensation changes and updates to employees in a clear and timely manner. Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all compensation-related data and information. Assist with special projects and initiatives related to compensation and total rewards. Provide training and support to HR and management on compensation-related topics. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the compensation team and across departments.
