Director, Marketing Operations (Remote, US)

The Role, Director of Marketing Operations

GoCanvas and SiteDocs work together as part of the Nemetschek Group to streamline construction and field operations. GoCanvas specializes in digital fieldworker collaboration and compliance, while SiteDocs, a GoCanvas solution, focuses on workplace safety management through mobile and web apps. Together, these platforms create a unified ecosystem that improves efficiency, safety, and collaboration across construction projects.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Director of Marketing Operations to lead and scale the marketing operations function across GoCanvas and SiteDocs. This role will be responsible for the systems, processes, data infrastructure, and operational frameworks that power our global marketing organization.

Reporting to the VP of Global Marketing, this leader will oversee the full marketing operations ecosystem — including marketing technology, lead management, automation, reporting, and cross-functional operational execution.

The Director of Marketing Operations will ensure our marketing programs run efficiently, that leads flow seamlessly through our systems, and that leadership has clear visibility into marketing performance and pipeline impact. A core focus of the role is driving operational excellence and speed of execution by establishing scalable processes, systems, and governance that enable fast, reliable marketing execution; driving project prioritization and cross-team alignment to ensure initiatives move forward quickly and efficiently; and leading continuous operational improvements that increase speed, efficiency, and marketing impact.

This role requires a strategic operator who can build scalable infrastructure while also driving complex cross-system projects across multiple platforms and teams.

Your Most Important Initiatives:

Marketing Technology & Systems

  • Own and optimize the marketing technology stack across both brands

  • Ensure systems are integrated, scalable, and aligned with marketing, sales, and partner workflows

  • Oversee platform administration, integrations, and ongoing system improvements

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve marketing efficiency, accelerate execution, and scale operations

Lead Lifecycle & Funnel Operations

  • Design and manage the end-to-end lead lifecycle, including lead capture, routing, scoring, and marketing-to-sales handoff

  • Establish and maintain partner lead-sharing frameworks and workflows

  • Ensure accurate funnel tracking, attribution, and removal of existing customers from inbound pipelines

Marketing Automation & Campaign Operations

  • Oversee the marketing automation team responsible for executing email campaigns, nurture tracks, and lifecycle marketing programs.

  • Ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently with proper segmentation, tracking, and performance measurement, partnering closely with demand generation and customer marketing teams.

Reporting, Analytics & Data Insights

  • Build and maintain marketing dashboards and reporting infrastructure

  • Track key metrics including pipeline contribution, campaign performance, and marketing ROI

  • Deliver actionable insights that inform marketing strategy and executive decision-making

Strategic Systems Projects

  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives across the marketing tech ecosystem

  • Manage major projects including platform migrations, integrations, reporting infrastructure, and lead management improvements

  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, partners, and contractors to ensure successful implementation

What You Bring:
  • 8–12+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or Marketing Systems

  • Prior experience leading and developing marketing operations or marketing technology teams

  • Deep expertise in Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce, and marketing automation

  • Proven experience building marketing dashboards, reporting frameworks, and attribution models

  • Strong knowledge of lead management, lifecycle marketing, and marketing-to-sales processes

  • Experience managing large cross-functional technical projects

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including sales, partner teams, and external vendors

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize initiatives and drive speed of execution in fast-paced environments
